Thoughtful touches make a difference
Elmwood Lodge was so great with thoughtful amenities. Waking up to a good array of breakfast choices and a comfy atmosphere. A nice touch was having a warm welcome card waiting for us, along with a good selection of snacks and drinks.
The only minor drawback was the lack of space in the fridge for our personal items due to its being fully stocked. Although the trains were audible at times, they didn't hinder our overall enjoyment and sleep too much.

The location was awsome, super close to the coast and a cool pub just around the corner. Melanie really went all out making it feel fancy, like a five-star hotel with all the breakfast goodies you could want. Having a bus stop right there was super helpful for our coastal walks. Loved the many snacks and drinks provided. Comfy bed and great tv for chillin after a long day out.
The only thing was the noise from the trains at night, kinda loud and disrupts your sleep. The fridge was packed with food we didn't eat so no space for our stuff.

Wonderful selection of fresh breakfast products available.
The train noise at night was disruptive and quite irritating each time one passed. The kitchenette lacked a water supply. The fridge was annoyingly overstocked with foods that weren't suitable for us, leaving no room for our essentials.

The stay offered an excellent selection of fresh products. The proximity to the train tracks created a noticeable noise, especially in the evenings, though this didn't affect the overall enjoyment too much. The fridge was fully stocked, leaving limited space for our own items, which posed a slight inconvenience given dietary restrictions. The privacy barrier to the garden could also use improvement, yet the amenities provided were thoughtful and made the environment cozy.
